Here is a great After School Care Origami Activity that children can make as a Christmas Decoration.
They even look beautful presented in a bowl.
This photo is of my coffee table.
Have a look at “How to make a Origami Star” on You Tube.

This was a great activity for the Over 5′s but I am sure some 4 year olds would be interested too.
If you ask me “Which job did you have the most fun” I would have to answer ” When I was a After School Care and Vacation Care Coordinator”
Every afternoon I would be outside playing games or giggling learning new dance move or calling the numbers for bingo.
I loved the time I had with School Aged Children.
Is there a game that your children just love to play?
A game that never seems to get old and you find you have just as much fun as the kids?
In my travels I discovered this web site providing a large range of activities.
Ideally I would have the children in After School Care look at this website and list the Activities that they find interesting
A lovely friend asked me if I know any activities for After School Care. One of my favourite positions was a After School Care Co-ordinator
I will be posting a range of Activities that relate to primary school children. My philosophy for this age group is providing open ended play.
